Rules
  • Outlaw means we are not affiliated with the AMA, it does not however mean that we don’t have rules.
  • No pit riding faster than walking speed
  • Anyone pit riding must do so with a helmet on.
  • No pit riding outside of the main gate.
  • Any questions or concerns need to be addressed by the race director. Preferably in writing.
  • Any rider deemed to be riding in a class lower than his or her riding ability will be moved up at the sole discretion of the track officials. SANDBAGING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
  • The rider is responsible for the actions of his or her parents, family members, mechanic, friends, or anyone else associated with him/her, and may be penalized or disqualified for the actions of those persons. Verbal harassment of officials and volunteers will not be tolerated. Any physical or verbal abuse of officials or volunteers will be grounds for permanent expulsion.
  • Required gear includes a Helmet, Long pants, Long sleeve shirt and Boots covering the ankles. NO TENNIS SHOES
  • We suggest that you also wear a Chest Protector, Kidney Belt, Knee Pads or Knee Braces and any other kind of protective gear.
  • All riders rolling any jump will do so on the left. Rolling means “NOT JUMPING”. Failure to comply will result in the rider being black flagged from the track. NO EXCEPTIONS
  • No one, other than authorized workers, is allowed on the track while equipment is on the track.
  • No one, other than authorized workers are to operate equipment.
  • During races, no one is allowed to approach the scoring tent. All issues should be tended to after the races are over. We will make every attempt to rectify any scoring issue at that time. Failure to cooperate will result in a loss of one lap from your race, your child’s race or whoever you are trying to “help outs” race and or dismissal from the track.
  • Do not wear muddy boots or gear into the office.
  • No playing in or under the bleachers.
  • Only one parent or representative of a rider are allowed on the track for the 50cc motorcycle and 90cc and below quads. Once they have entered the track they must stay in that particular area. They are not to cross the lanes until the last rider has gone by at the end of the race.
  • No playing with the water spigots.
  • No throwing sand or dirt at any time.
  • No playing with the wires attached to the lighting poles.
  • No bicycles allowed on the track.
  • No one is allowed on the track at intermission.
  • Armbands must be displayed at all times. If you are caught without one you will be asked to purchase one immediately – NO EXCUSES.
  • A parent or guardian must accompany any rider under the age of 18 at signup.
  • Once practice begins, no refunds will be issued.
  • ANYONE CAUGHT PRACTICING IN THE WRONG CLASS WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FOR THE DAY WITH NO REFUND – NO EXCUSES
  • Only one parent is allowed on the track during the PeeWee races.
  • No throwing things from the bleachers. If you are caught you will be asked to leave.
  • All trash should be discarded into the trash cans. Please do not leave it in the bleachers or on the ground. Bags should be left by the cans.
  • Dogs must be on a leash at all times. Please pick up after your dogs. If your dog uses the bathroom on the ground please pick it up. Failure to do so will result in all dogs being banned from the premises.
  • Anyone caught dispensing gray or black water from RV’s will be asked to leave.
  • Anyone caught hooking up to electrical or water outlets without permission will be asked to leave.
  • Anyone caught misusing, abusing, vandalizing, or stealing any property of the facility will be prosecuted.
  • Riders that are involved in a Red flag situation that causes the stoppage of a race and are able to continue will restart the race with a dead engine.
  • Anything thought to be unsportsmanlike or not in the best interest of the track and other riders will be treated as a direct violation of track rules and will be treated as such. Consequences will be determined by track management in relation to their severity.
  • Parents must move away from the riders at the starting gate when the 30 second board is displayed.
  • No one is to go in front of the starting gate for any reason.
  • All 50cc motorcycle riders are to be accompanied by a parent to and from the starting gate.
  • All vehicles need to be out of the gated area by 10:00a.m. Sunday morning.
VSP reserves the right to amend or modify any rule, or establish a new rule at any time, as the situation may warrant
